WEG to showcase advanced motor and drive solutions at Indumation 2026

Global motor and drive manufacturer WEG will exhibit at Indumation 2026, taking place from 4 to 6 February at Kortrijk Xpo in Kortrijk, Belgium. From Booth 119, the company will highlight a selection of efficient, space-saving and application-driven motor and gearbox technologies for industrial automation environments. The exhibition provides an opportunity for WEG to demonstrate how its solutions support productivity, reliability and energy efficiency across modern manufacturing operations.

At Indumation 2026, visitors will be able to see the W80 AxGen motor combined with the W22 range. This demonstration highlights the advantages of axial-flux technology for applications where high torque density and a compact footprint are essential. The W80 AxGen’s reduced size and weight make it particularly suitable for installations where space is limited, without compromising performance or efficiency.

Also on display will be the WG50 gear unit, engineered for robustness and long service life in demanding industrial environments. Designed to deliver reliable torque transmission, the WG50 supports a wide range of automation and motion control applications, helping operators improve uptime while reducing maintenance requirements.

Complementing this will be the Cemp brake motor, offering integrated braking performance for safety-critical and precision-driven applications. Designed for use in hazardous environments, it is available in flameproof (Ex db) and dust-ignition proof (Ex tb) versions, certified to ATEX and IECEx standards.

The brake motor is designed to provide controlled stopping and secure holding, supporting operational safety and accuracy across automated processes. It is available in frame sizes 80 to 250, and up to 315 in the IE1 and IE2 standard and high-efficiency motor classes, with brake torque options and duty types to suit application needs, and the Cemp range covers power ratings from 0.75 to 200 kilowatts (kW). Efficiency classes extend up to IE4 Super Premium Efficiency, representing a major step up from IE1 and IE2.

High-efficiency motors and compact geared solutions

In addition to the physical exhibits, WEG will also highlight its W23 Sync+ motor series and WG20 gear units through on-stand graphic panels. While these products will not be demonstrated live, the displays will provide visitors with insight into WEG’s broader portfolio of high-efficiency motors and compact geared solutions designed to meet evolving industrial requirements.

“Indumation is an important platform for engaging with automation professionals and showcasing how our technologies help improve efficiency and reliability on the factory floor,” said Werner Lievens, Managing Director of WEG Benelux. “From compact axial-flux motors to integrated braking solutions, our portfolio is designed to support smarter, more efficient industrial operations.”

WEG’s team will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss applications, system integration and how its motor and gearbox technologies can be tailored to specific automation challenges.

WEG will present its portfolio of electromechanical, electric and mechanical geared solutions, alongside drives, automation, software and service capabilities, at booth 119 during Indumation 2026, Kortrijk, Belgium. Visit its website to learn more.
