WEG, a leading global manufacturer of industrial equipment, will exhibit at CFIA, taking place from 10 to 12 March, 2026, at Rennes Parc Expo, France. At booth 3-A12, in hall 2.3, WEG will present its drives, motors and digital solutions designed to optimise performance, improve efficiency and ensure reliability in the food and beverage industry.

Among the products on show is the WG20 gearbox range, engineered for efficiency and durability. With a compact and modular design, including helical, parallel shaft and helical bevel configurations, the WG20 is widely used in packaging machines, bakery equipment and conveyor belt drives in food processing lines.

WEG will also showcase its W23 Sync+ motors with IE5 and IE6 efficiency levels. When paired with the CFW900 and CFW500 IP66 variable speed drives, these synchronous motors form an energy-efficient combination designed to optimise motor performance and extend equipment service life. Both the motors and the variable speed drives can be supplied directly from WEG’s stock in France, which enables WEG to cover power ratings from 7.5 to 55 kilowatts (kW), with the IE5 motor range scheduled to be extended up to 132 kW over 2026.

“Variable speed drives and high‑efficiency motors play a key role in food and beverage production”, said Loic Kentrotis, marketing manager at WEG France. “These control conveyors, mixers, pumps and fans while delivering precise speed control and significant energy savings across processing, bottling and packaging operations”.

For hazardous environments such as Zone 21, an ATEX-classified area where combustible dust may be present during normal operation, WEG will present CEMP Dust Ignition Proof brake motors. Designed for high levels of operational safety, they feature certified Dust Ignition Proof (Ex tb) protection, robust cast-iron construction and full ATEX and IECEx certification. Delivering IE3 and IE4 efficiency, the motors are suitable for dust-handling applications such as silos and feature power ratings from 0.75 to 200 kW and IEC frame sizes from 80 to 315.

Complementing its hardware portfolio, WEG will also demonstrate Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) designed to support increasingly complex machine and process requirements, including seed treatment and fertiliser dosing systems in agriculture, as well as temperature and recipe management applications in the food and beverage sector.

The HMIs streamline control, monitoring and supervision and can be seamlessly integrated into automation systems, supporting reliable, efficient and user-friendly operation.
